Occupational Safety And Health
Attaching great importance to the employee's safety and health in the workplace, Oneness Biotech currently take occupational safety and health measures at Nanchou Plant, including hazard identification and risk assessment, the establishment of an “Occupational Disaster Prevention Database”, and the implementation of the “Badge of Accredited Healthy Workplace-Oneness Biotech New Life Movement”, etc., in order to strengthen the management of employees’ occupational safety and health. In addition, Nanchou Plant plans to acquire ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Safety and Health System certification in 2021. This way, the system can be introduced to the Nanchou Plant to improve the safety and health of the working environment. It is expected to reduce and eliminate hazards and related diseases in the workplace.
Education and training program for occupational safety and health
Oneness Biotech organizes education and training programs for occupational safety and health regularly and invites a professional team composed of occupational safety & health consultants as lecturers. With an aim to build the employees’ concept of occupational safety and health, the course content includes workplace safety, emergency response, machine operation, health lecture, and educational campaign for occupational diseases. In 2019, employees participating in the education and training program for occupational safety and health reached 60 person-times. It is expected that the education and training program for occupational safety and health will be strengthened when the Nanchou Plant launches production in 2020. In 2020, employees participating in the education and training program for occupational safety and health reached 134 person-times.
Emergency response measures
In response to possible emergencies, Oneness Biotech develops relevant emergency medical procedures and contingency measures, such as “Procedures Governing the Leakage of Toxic Chemical Substance and Emergency Response”, “Regulations Governing the Emergency Response Measures for Occupational Safety and Health”, “Procedures Governing the Emergency Medical Services”, etc. Colleagues in laboratories and factories are required to receive the necessary training so that they can be proficient in the knowledge and skills for emergency response. At the same time, they are able to take emergency response measures at different stages of the disaster to minimize the loss.
