  • Retirement systems and their implementation status:
    In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the company withholds employee retirement reserves at 2% of the total monthly pay and deposits in a special account in the Bank of Taiwan. Since July 2005, employees who choose the pension system provided in the Labor Pension Act will be withheld 6% of their monthly pay to the individual pension account of the Bureau of Labor Insurance, Ministry of Labor. If the employee’s pension payment is related to seniority, the pension payment shall be paid in accordance with the old system of a special account for the labor retirement reserve, depending on the employee's seniority in the affiliated company.
  • Working environment and employee safety:
    • Providing a safe, hygienic and healthy working environment
      Attaching great importance to workplace safety and health, the company expects employees to work in a healthy, safe, and caring environment while having a healthy body and mind. Therefore, each pharmaceutical plant aims to build a safe and health workplace with zero occupational injuries.
    • Strengthen the management of various safety and health education and training, promotion and drills, and effectively strengthen employees’ work safety awareness, knowledge, and emergency response abilities to protect the working safety of employees.
    • Regular employee physical examinations and discounts on the purchases of company products to care for employees’ health.
    • Colleagues in laboratories and factories are required to receive the necessary training so that they can be proficient in the knowledge and skills for emergency response. At the same time, they are able to take emergency response measures at different stages of the disaster to minimize the loss.
  • Rules for Measures of Prevention, Correction, Complaint and Punishment of Sexual Harassment at Workplace:
    • The company guarantees gender equality in the workplace and provides equal employment opportunities. In order to create a workplace environment that protects employees from sexual harassment, the company formulates sexual harassment prevention measures, complaints and punishment methods, and establishes relevant grievance channels.
